MUP alums graduate from year-long leadership program
During the conference, the group presented their capstone projects, which were a culmination of roughly four months of work and a product of interviews with 30 transit executives in the industry. Jay and Charlotte along with 3 other classmates were on the same capstone team and presented strategies for incoming transit executives. The class also raised $40,000 for American Public Transportation Foundation’s scholarship fund.
Also during the APTA TRANSform conference, Leanne Redden (MUP 90) was announced as the national chair of APTA. Read more about this here.
Jay Rank is the Operations Director for the Champaign-Urbana MTD. Charlotte Obodzinski currently serves as the Department Manager of the Project Management Office for Pace Suburban Bus in Arlington Heights, Illinois, and serves as the national chair of the Bus Rapid Transit Committee for APTA. Leanne Redden is the Executive Director at the Chicago Regional Transportation Authority.
