Our BAUSP program prepares students for planning-related careers in many diverse fields. It also hones skills for intensive graduate study.

Urban Planning is an interdisciplinary field that draws on problem-solving and policy development skills. Our minor introduces students to issues impacting cities in the U.S. and worldwide.

The MUP program empowers graduate students to move forward as leading planning practitioners. It provides deeper intellectual grounding and hones advanced skills in planning techniques.

Our MSSUM degree provides mid-career professionals with the analytical knowledge to manage urban changes. It explores inter-related urban systems and policy interventions that contribute to sustainable, healthy, and resilient communities.

The Ph.D. program prepares scholars for positions in academic service and research. It builds a strong theoretical foundation in planning and social science. It also provides opportunity for advanced research in a chosen specialization.
